About Case Converter
UPPERCASE and lowercase are the simplest of the six styles, converting every letter regardless of position. Title Case here capitalizes the first letter of every word, which is a common simplified approach; formal style guides like AP and Chicago instead lowercase short articles, conjunctions and prepositions (a, an, the, and, of, in) unless they open or close the title, so a strict Title Case check against those guides may still need a manual pass. Sentence case capitalizes only the first letter of the whole string and lowercases the rest.
camelCase and snake_case come from programming conventions rather than prose. camelCase removes spaces and capitalizes the first letter of every word after the first, producing names like readingTime, while snake_case removes spaces and joins words with underscores in all lowercase, producing reading_time. Both are used for variable, function and file naming where spaces aren't allowed.
This makes the tool useful for two very different jobs: reformatting a heading or block of prose between casing styles, and converting a plain-English label into a valid variable name for code. Switching between all six from one input means you don't need separate tools for writing tasks and coding tasks.
