About Delete PDF Pages
Deleting a page removes its entry from the document's page tree and drops the page object along with it, then the remaining pages are renumbered internally so the document reads as a continuous sequence with no gaps. Everything else about the surviving pages — their content, fonts, embedded images — is copied through untouched, so this is a subtraction rather than a re-render.
It's the tool for cleaning up a document before sharing it: dropping a blank page left over from scanning, removing a cover sheet that isn't needed in the final version, or trimming an appendix that doesn't apply to a particular recipient. Because remaining pages keep their relative order, nothing needs to be rearranged afterward.
File size usually drops roughly in line with how much content was removed, though the savings aren't always perfectly proportional — if a font or image was shared across several pages, its data stays in the file as long as at least one remaining page still uses it. And since deletion happens immediately on download, it's worth keeping a copy of the original file until you've confirmed the result looks right.
